01 —The short version
Sitelens sets one cookie, sitelens_session, and only when you sign in. It is strictly necessary: it keeps you signed in. We don’t use analytics, advertising or social-media cookies, and we don’t load third-party trackers or pixels.
That is why Sitelens shows no cookie banner: there is nothing optional to consent to.
04 —What we don’t do
- No analytics cookies or analytics scripts.
- No advertising, retargeting or social-media cookies.
- No third-party tracking pixels or fingerprinting.
- No cookies for visitors who aren’t signed in, including guest single-page checks.
05 —IP addresses and rate limiting
Without using cookies, we use the IP address of incoming requests transiently to apply rate limits, for example on sign-in attempts and guest page checks. These counters cover windows of one hour or less and are not used to track you across sites or over time.
06 —Controlling cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block sitelens_session, you can still browse the public site and run guest checks, but you won’t be able to sign in. Signing out deletes the cookie and ends the session on our server.
07 —Changes
If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires. The “Last updated” date above shows when this policy last changed.
